On August 26–27, 2025, devastating floods swept across parts of Jammu and Punjab. Triggered by heavy monsoon rains, farmlands were submerged, villages were cut off, and thousands of families were forced to flee. Among the worst affected are our sacred Gau Mata and other livestock, stranded without food, shelter, or medical care.
In Punjab, over 1.5 lakh people and hundreds of villages have been impacted, leaving countless cows without fodder, clean water, and safe shelter. In Jammu, swollen rivers and landslides have disrupted dairies and small farms, further endangering these divine beings. With roads damaged and connectivity lost, timely seva is the only way to prevent starvation and disease outbreaks among cows.
Nutritious fodder and clean water as cows are cut off from their feeding areas
Temporary shelters to protect them from waterborne infections
Emergency veterinary care including treatment, vaccinations and healing for flood injuries
Rescue and relocation support for stranded and displaced cattle
In our Sanatan tradition, Gau Seva (service to the cow) is considered equal to serving the Divine. Cows are not only symbols of purity, prosperity, and motherhood, but they also selflessly nurture us with milk, strength, and abundance.
Today, these sacred mothers are in pain. To serve them now is to uphold dharma and fulfill a sacred duty. By protecting them, you protect the very essence of our culture, our faith, and the blessings they bring to every household.
Your contribution will bring immediate relief — fodder, clean water, safe shelter, and medical aid to cows in the flood-affected regions of Jammu and Punjab.
By supporting this cause, you are not just saving lives, you are performing punya (sacred merit) that brings divine blessings.
Let us stand together in compassion and ensure these innocent beings receive the love, dignity, and care they deserve.
Donate today. Every act of kindness towards Gau Mata is an offering of devotion, compassion, and faith.
